Parent-Teacher Conferences

This afternoon we had parent-teacher conferences for the elementary school kids.  All the kids are doing pretty well and all have some specific things to work on.  The second grade teacher we have had her students each write their parents a letter to get at the conference.  Here was the letter I got today:

Dear Mom,

You are the best prsin I now ecsept Mrs. Chipman.  Thank you for makeing me diner.  I love you so so so so so so much.

Love,

Daughter #3

  1. Awww, that's so cute! I love getting letters like that, especially from the kids, spelling errors and all. They have character that way. :) I'm glad your kiddos are doing well. Our PT conferences are coming up on Feb 18, and I already know that child #1 has to work on her reading, and child #2, writing. We'll see for the rest...

  2. Lindsay probably didn't want her teacher to feel bad. She was probably just being diplomatic.

  3. Kat says: That is just too precious. Silly Bryan's comment. I also like your last post about the hymns. Your so cute big sis.

  4. Kat says: It should be "you're", not "your"; looks like I could work on my spelling these days too.
