It's Mutual
Tonight was the combined YW and YM activity. The YM were in charge. The activity was a Halloween dance. I've decided for the upteenth time that I do not like Halloween. Or dances. I dressed up in jeans, sweatshirt, bun and no makeup. In other words, myself. Which, because of this being PMS week, is pretty scary. I went with a headache and left with a bigger headache. It's pretty weird when your head starts throbbing to the beat of the music. Not my finest night.
Boy. This was an uplifting post.

I put all the rest of the tomatoes in the house out in the garden for the chickens to eat. It was very freeing.

Laundry
Some days it seems like all I do is laundry. This past week from Wednesday until Saturday night, the kids and I did 20 loads of laundry. Here's the breakdown:
2 - Son's clothes
1 - Daughter #1's clothes
2 - Daughter #2's clothes
4 - Daughters #3 and #4's clothes
2 - Husband's colored clothes
1 - Husband's white clothes
2 - My colored clothes
1 - My white clothes
2 - White towels
1 - Other towels and rags
1 - Tableclothes
1 - Kitchen rags
No wonder I get tired of laundry sometimes! We normally do 14-16 loads a week. The three oldest kids do their own laundry, which certainly helps. I got a bit behind on laundry with all the garden and canning stuff. It's good to be caught up again.

24 - the number of buttermilk muffins I made for breakfast this morning

This is Really the Last of it
Daughter #1 and I picked 3 more overflowing grocery bags of green tomatoes this morning. Now we wait for the green tomatoes, all about 500 + of them, to get ripe. Then more saucing and canning. I can finally see the end!
