I am a clock-watcher. I have been for a long, long time. And time causes me anxiety. Lots of it.
I haven't been sleeping well for a while. Part of my problem is that when I wake up, I have to see what time it is to see how long I slept and then I watch the clock to see how long I don't sleep. Silly, I know.
So, I got rid of my digital alarm clock with the brightly glowing numbers. I can't read my husband's clock without my glasses on and am too tired to get up to look at it, so I don't know what the time is during the night. This has actually worked for the two nights I've tried this so far. I've slept better than I have in a long while.
We'll see if this keeps up.
Wow, I didn't know that you do that. It's kind of funny the things you learn about your siblings sometimes. I think it's that's a great idea and I'm glad you've been able to sleep a bit better. Perhaps your sleep will continue to improve. I sure hope so. It's so important in how one approaches the day and how one feels during it. Keep us updated on how your experiment works!
