Auction

Last night our ward held an auction/fundraiser to help the scouts raise money for their camps this year.  It was $10 per family for the spaghetti dinner.  Ward members donated items and services to be auctioned off.  We donated 1 dozen fresh eggs from our chickens.  That went for $15.  The item that went for the most money was a signed Jimmer Fredette jersey.  It went for $600.  Insane.

My husband bid on and won a free accordion lesson from a ward member.  Our next door neighbor happens to have an accordion, so he can practice.  This should be interesting.

Randomness

Load of laundry #78 (approximately!) is currently in the washing machine.  I have never done so much laundry as I have since Sunday afternoon.  It all began with finding some creepy crawlies on Daughter #3's head.  After confirming with the internet what they were, some panic set in and the laundry began.  I'm probably going to have to watch the last session of General Conference again, since I didn't get much out of it.  Since I'm doing more cleaning than I had planned on, I guess I should just do my spring cleaning as well.

I had my last den meeting as a scout leader this time around on Monday.  I was finally able to pass on all the Cub Scout stuff to the other leader.  My bedroom closet now has a whole lot more space!

We have some cute daffodils, tulips and crocus coming up in our yard.  Hooray for Spring!!!

The kids have Spring Break next week.  They are so excited.  I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

Daughter #3 gets baptized on Saturday.  She has been counting down the days for months.  The previously mentioned head critters will not be baptized with her.  There will be none left by then (said with fingers and toes and eyes crossed).

I had a birthday last week.  I'm now halfway through my 30's.  The Young Women presidency took me to lunch at Olive Garden.  It was very nice.
