  1. How very true. The first thing that came to mind when I read that was my friend's husband who thinks too much about the questions we'll have answered on the other side and now doesn't believe in God.

  2. I remember when I used to think too much. It about drove me crazy! Then, while reading the New Testament, I came across a scripture that seemed to tell me to stop over-thinking. I haven't thought about it in years--now it is going to bug me all day until I find it again! :o)

  3. It was 1 Timothy 1:4 : "Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do."

    Maybe it doesn't seem like quite the same thing, but when I was young I did a lot of worrying about God and who was his father and who was his father and who was his father...an endless genealogy question that drove me nuts. This scripture helped me to set that aside,and work on "godly edifying" instead.
