Letters

Dear Pansy, Daisy, Tulip and Matilda,
Is it really necessary to make such a ruckus while deciding who will sleep where in the coop?  I appreciate you hens putting yourselves to bed every night, but really.  A little more calmly, please.
Love, Tara

Dear Morning Glories,
You won the battle months ago, and I acknowledged it then, so you can stop trying to win.  This is getting silly.
Love,  Tara

Dear Dishes and Laundry,
I know you are both just looking for attention, but multiplying every time I turn my back is not the way I'd like you to do it.  Washing and putting away yourselves would get my attention very nicely.
Love,  Tara

Dear Family,
Thank you for only creating a small amount of contention during our Family Home Evening tonight.  It was nice to remain in a good mood.  Unlike last night.  Ahem.
Love,  Mom

Dear Kitchen Blinds,
I'd like to thank you for being willing to get cleaned today.  You sure were grody and now are so white and beautiful.  Let's see if you can stay that way for a good long while, okay?  Especially the one above the sink.
Love,  Tara

Dear Etsy Users,
Thank you for looking at my shop and favoriting items I've made.  It sure gives me a thrill to see a good number of views in my shop.  I'm still waiting to sell one of you something, so keep on looking at my stuff and it will happen someday.
Love,  socuteandfumps

Dear Amazon,
Thank you for having so many free ebooks for my Kindle.  I've read many stories I wouldn't have thought to read if it wasn't for you.  Arabian Nights is currently being read and thoroughly enjoyed.  Keep up the good work and free ebooks!
Love, Tara

  1. We know all about loud chickens battling over who gets the corner. Usually Ginny beats everyone to it (she's our early-to-bed girl-unlike me) but lately one of the buffs has been ousting her. Silly birds.

Creeping myrtle and morning glory...ugh. Dang weeds multiply every night seemingly by the thousands. We're fighting a losing battle.

Laundry and dishes...amen. I actually have ALL the laundry put away. Until tomorrow when more loads will be done and sit for a week.

I loved reading your post. It cracked me up!
