Fear

"Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism.  Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make you a far happier and more productive person."

~Dr. David M. Burns~

"Don't be too timid and squeamish about your actions.  All life is an experiment.  The more experiments you make, the better."

~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

  1. I love those quotes.

I agree...100%. I've lived most of my life in debilitating fear. It's funny what fear can do to a persons happiness. Letting it go (or continually working on it) is the best thing I have EVER done.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

  2. I agree with Melanie. Fear sure is debilitating as I know as well. The happiness factor really goes down when one is in constant fear. That's why I'm in therapy and that's why we're all on the same road to discover ourselves and making sure we confront those things that hamper our progress.
