One of my eyes is red and itching like crazy from something in the air. Why the other eye isn't joining in the fun is a mystery.
For our Beehive class activity tonight we went to meet a new Beehive that was supposed to move in yesterday. Instead, we met her father and learned that their furniture won't arrive from Connecticut until Saturday, so they aren't moved in yet. So we ended up going to the park down the street. The girls made clover chains and played grass tag and basically acted like 12 and 13-year olds. Very entertaining.
There is a thunderstorm going on tonight, which explains why my aching legs are keeping me awake. Silly legs.
Our AC is lovely.
We had a fun 4th of July spent with family. Get-togethers are always great fun.
In 3 weeks, Daughter #1 and I will be at Girls' Camp. I'm getting quite excited. It should be a great experience for the girls and the leaders. We have some awesome people in this ward.
I'm still mostly sane this summer vacation, but am very much looking forward to school starting back up next month. All the kids in school all day? Yes, please!
My allergies have been acting up a bit too, mostly because of the pollen I think. Your YW activity sounds like fun! Something simple is sometimes the best thing. Darryl and I watched the thunderstorm on our porch for a while. It was nice though fatigue finally drove me indoors. I think I slept two hours max last night. Ugh. I'm sure Megan is stoked about going to girl's camp! I can see her having a blast hanging out with just the two of you! I hope to be called into young women's again so I can go to girl's camp. :) I am mostly enjoying the kids being home this summer but I definitely have my moments (or hours or days) of wanting school to come quickly.
