Last night our ward held an auction/fundraiser to help the scouts raise money for their camps this year. It was $10 per family for the spaghetti dinner. Ward members donated items and services to be auctioned off. We donated 1 dozen fresh eggs from our chickens. That went for $15. The item that went for the most money was a signed Jimmer Fredette jersey. It went for $600. Insane.
My husband bid on and won a free accordion lesson from a ward member. Our next door neighbor happens to have an accordion, so he can practice. This should be interesting.
Kat: Cute little Bryan playing the accordion.
ReplyDeleteWow, $15 for a dozen eggs?! That's insane! But awesome for the scouts. I can't believe $600 for a jersey. I can't justify that. I'd rather buy books with that money. Haha. Good luck to Bryan for the accordion lesson!
