Books

I love books.  I love to read them, hold them, smell them, use them in decorating, look at them.  I especially love old books and ones that have been owned by someone else before me.  I have found a great many books at thrift stores and library book sales.  It's a bit of a weakness, really.

These books are on my nightstand.  The one titled Mental Deficiency makes me chuckle when I see it.

Many of these have come from thrift stores and library sales.  I've been trying to find a lot of the ones I remember reading when I was younger.

It's especially fun to find an inscription or date and name of who owned the book.

This is in a book about mineralogy.

This was my grandmother's book.  It's nice to have her handwriting.
