That's how many tomatoes we currently have in the house. I just picked 88 tomatoes a few minutes ago and we had 22 that were ripening in the kitchen. This is getting out of hand!
Right now the three youngest are supposed to be getting ready for school. Daughter #4 is brushing her hair. Daughter #3 is brushing her teeth. Daughter #2 is lying on the carpet watching a sow bug crawl across the floor. Typical Daughter #2 behavior. Good thing she's already done with her teeth and hair!
All but 5 of these tomatoes were picked today. This isn't showing the greenish ones that had fallen off or were picked too early. There are 11 of those. I think it's time to make spaghetti sauce tonight.
This morning has started out rough. My husband forgot his computer and has to drive back home from work in Springville to pick it up, Daughters #2 and #3 have colds and one has a fever and will be staying home from school, and we're out of bread. It will be tortilla sandwiches for lunch today. So much for a first day home alone while all the kids are in school. Oh, well, there's always tomorrow.
Tomorrow I have Daughter #1 in school for 7th grade day. Tuesday, all the kids but Daughter #1 start school. Wednesday, all the kids are in school. Hooray!
